Which Is Stronger: Paid or Organic Traffic?

Generating huge volumes of traffic is the main goal of every website as it contributes to your site's performance and ranking on top search engines. With a good ranking, you will gain a reputation among online users and thus earning support and income.

However, there are two types of traffic that garner attention and trigger discussions among advertisers and online marketers: the paid traffic and organic traffic. The difference is quite obvious but still, they have their own pros and cons.

Do you want to know how each of them works and which one is stronger? Then let's have the paid and organic traffic squeezed into good details.

Aside from the fact that you are paying for your site's traffic, paid traffic consists of different methods such as pay-per-click (PPC), cost-per-click (CPC), banner ads, and others. These services are offered by different marketing firms the most popular of them is Google AdWords.

Such paid traffic methods are proven fast as you can get traffic and leads in just hours and also, can be highly rewarding. However, it is not recommended to novices of online advertising.

Keep in mind that is quite expensive as you are paying on every click made on your link. If you want to have paid traffic, then you must know well what you are doing or you might lose your investment in gaining paid traffic.

On the other hand, organic traffic or known as free traffic is acquired through results delivered by search engines when an online user enters such query. Usually, people tend to focus on items that are found on the first page of search results and tend to ignore the following pages, so it is your main goal to land on top.

It might be free but there is a great challenge for you to be placed on the first page of such high-profile search engines. However, if you apply good keywords with less competition on your contents, then you have a good change of getting the top spot with less work.

Getting organic traffic might be tedious as you are required to constantly interact on popular sites and submit quality content articles on different article hosting sites but it is proven to be beneficial once you get the hang out of it. When you became a regular contributor, you will earn such reputation among other online users, and most likely to gain an increasing number of followers that can even recommend you to other people.

With such differences, both paid and organic traffic have a good number of followers who practice such methods. However, with the increasing cost of advertising and recent crackdowns, it is proven that organic traffic is much stronger as is provides sure fire ways to acquire traffic without spending too much.

Which One is Better Organic Traffic Or Paid Traffic?

Are you aware from the terms Organic and Paid Traffic? I guess yes, but I think many people are still unaware from these. So here are a bit of detail for those types of people who are not aware from these.

Organic traffic is mainly the traffic which comes to your website naturally or from any search engines, from their search result pages. While if you are trying to get visitors by paying anything then it will be counted as the Paid Traffic. It can come either by sponsored links from any search engines, when you search any thing or from any website which provide traffic to other, while they will charge for it.

So many clients of mine has always asked me which one is better, that is either getting traffic from the natural searches or from paid traffics? Many people got confused with this question, so I thought to share my own views on it.

As far as my own experience is concerned then I have found that it is always good to get free and natural traffic. Although I know that it will take lots of time and patience to get natural traffic while you can get some good amount of traffic by just paying a small amount to any one. The reason why I am claiming this is the fact that the traffic which will come from the natural search will last long on your website compared to the paid one.

The people who are coming from the paid traffics are generally having the tendency to leave the site immediately after reaching to the page. This might be because if they are looking for some thing in particular and reaches to your web page and don't found it there then they will immediately close the page. On the other hand the natural traffic would always look for the information so it is highly possible that he will spend more time on your website.

One more difference which you will found is that the traffic which will come from the natural searches will have the tendency to come back to your site frequently, while this will not be the case of the paid traffic. I have seen so many services which claim that they will provide around XXXXXX visitors for only $X, but all those visitors will be one type of waste to your website.

One benefit which you can get from the paid traffic that too which you are getting from some well renowned programs like Google AdWords, or Yahoo SM (Search Marketing), will give you boost in case if you are selling any product on your website. So if any of my client who wants to sell something and asks me this question then I suggest him to invest a bit of money on these type of programs to get paid traffic, otherwise in general I will suggest any web master or blogger to depend on the Organic Traffic.
